Lady Roos soccer players went to work under the Golden Arches to raise money for the girls soccer booster club last night. Players offered face painting, sold raffle tickets, and provided customer service as part of McDonald’s first McTeacher Night. The program allows spirit groups or Weatherford ISD teachers to work behind the counter for three hours. Ten percent of the restaurant’s profits during that time went to the team. Hall Middle School and Curtis Elementary also plan to take part in the fundraising opportunity.
