Thanks in part to the hot hand of Itiana Taylor (24), shown pushing a putback in the first half against McLennan on Saturday in the North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference opener, the Lady Coyotes held of the scrapping Lady Highlanders to notch a 74-67 win. Taylor led all scorers in the match with 30 points. WC’s Alexia Kelley (left) added 15 points to the WC effort and took control of the boards in the second half.
