Shown here stopping an Abilene runner in last year's district contest, Weatherford's Roos made one of the best district showings against the eventual 5A state champs. WISD Athletic Director Phillip O'Neal feels the consistency, and overall retention of coaches has helped improve Weatherford athletics' competitiveness. Despite a change in the Roos' head football coaching position, most other assignments remained the same for Weatherford sports.
