Poolville’s pair of senior players helped lead the Monarchs to an undefeated District 11-1A, Division I slate, culminating with a dramatic, come-from-behind win over the Collinsville Pirates on Tuesday, 51-50, using stout defense and clutch shooting down the stretch to preserve its unblemished district mark. Finishing its regular season with a 30-6 record, Poolville has had 30-win seasons three of the past four years. The state coaches’ poll currently ranks the Monarchs in the top ten in Class 1A, Div.
