Coyotes guard Kevin Durant, WC's most prolific scorer last season, returns for his sophomore season at Weatherford College, accompanied by a dozen new players. Durant is shown heading for a layup in a game last season against Southwestern Christian. WC head coach Dave Donnelly looks forward to working with the 2009-10 squad, and feels the Coyotes will improve despite the consistent quality of Region V competition. WC plays its first home game Tuesday at the Betty Jo Crumm Graber Athletic Center and will face Lon Morris College. The Lady Coyotes' game tips off at 5:30 p.m., with the men's match at 7:30 p.m.
