Weatherford coach and economics teacher John Hansen has spent a lot of his career guiding athletes. In November, Hansen entered a contest of his own, traveling to Cozumel, Mexico for the Ironman triathlon. Hansen spent several months preparing for the event, which includes segments of swimming, cycling and running. The race totals over 140 miles.
