WC’s Johvanna Darrington (21) played a significant role for the Lady Coyotes at both ends of the court in the NJCAA Region V tourney, and head coach Bob McKinley will look for more of the same from the sophomore at the Division I national tournament next week. Darrington averaged 13 points scored, snagged 9 rebounds per game and blocked 2 shots per contest at the regional tourney. WC begins its national title quest on Monday, facing Northeast CC at 10 a.m.
