Weatherford Mayor Dennis Hooks made a new friend Friday in Lonnie, a 13-year-old Hyacinth Macaw rescue belonging to Birdlink Sanctuary. Several of the organization’s birds were on hand to help with the dedication of the new Heritage Park Event Center at First Monday Trade Days.
