Fields, Perry named to frosh All-American team
TCU defensive end Devonte Fields and punter Ethan Perry have received Freshman All-America honors from CBSSports.com with Fields additionally being named the National Defensive Freshman of the Year by Scout.com (FOX Sports NEXT).

Jason Verrett selected First Team All-American
SI.com has named TCU cornerback Jason Verrett a first-team All-American with defensive end Devonte Fields receiving honorable-mention accolades.
Verrett has also been tabbed a second-team All-American by the Walter Camp Football Foundation and a third-team All-American by the Associated Press.

TCU announces 2013 football slate
TCU football's complete 2013 schedule was announced Tuesday by the Big 12 office.The Horned Frogs' second season in the Big 12 will begin Sept. 14 at Texas Tech.TCU's first Big 12 home game in 2013 will be Oct. 12 versus Kansas. Other conference home contests for the Horned Frogs will be Texas (Oct. 26), West Virginia (Nov. 2) and Baylor (Nov. 30).

WHAT'S AT STAKE
Renewal of an instate conference rivalry, and avoiding a second Big 12 loss. With TCU now in the Big 12, this will become an annual game again. The two teams have played only twice since their last Southwest Conference meeting in 1995, both winning at home — Tech 70-35 in 2004, and TCU 12-3 two years later. The series dates back to 1926.
