Longtime Banker Retires

ALEDO - First Financial Bank-Aledo Senior Vice President Louis Sneed is retiring after 18 years with the company. Sneed, whose motto is “Always treat others the way you want to be treated”, will be honored with a come and go reception on Friday, August 28th.

Doyle Lee, Chairman/CEO said “Louis is not only the type of banker you like dealing with, he’s also the type of person you like dealing with. He’s a great example of what a role model should be to younger bankers and businessmen. We’re saddened that he is leaving us, but wish him well in his new endeavor going into the ministry.”

“It’s been a very rewarding experience”, said Sneed, “Coming to Citizens National Bank 18 years ago was a great opportunity for me. I’ve been blessed to have been able to help customers with their financial needs, but most importantly I’ve made so many good friends over the years.”

First Financial President Jay Gibbs said Louis Sneed took customer service to a whole new level. “Louis always had the customer’s best interest at heart. He knew that the customer’s needs always came first.”

Louis grew up in Winters, Texas and graduated from Hardin Simmons University in Abilene. He and his family have lived in Aledo since 1971 and ranched several years before going into banking in 1985. Sneed joined then Citizens National Bank in 1991. Louis also serves as pastor at Parker County Cowboy Church. First Financial Aledo will hold a come and go reception for Louis Sneed on Friday, August 28th from 2:00 until 4:00. Everyone is welcome to attend.
