ASB to host toy drive

WEATHERFORD - American State Bank will host a Holiday Toy Drive collecting toys for A Place for Grace Children’s Home starting December 1 and ending on American State Bank’s Open House on December 18th.

“This year we are very excited to collect toys for A Place for Grace Children’s Home,” said Krystal Bryan of the ASB Weatherford location. “Each of the 10 children has made a wish list that can be viewed along with pictures and information about the organization in the bank’s lobby. American State Bank has been very enthused with the response from the community’s involvement with our local events and knew the community would be energized to participate and support this wonderful organization.”

Everyone is encouraged to visit the bank and bring a new, unwrapped toy or monetary contribution.

For further information please call Wade Julian, Branch President at American State Bank at 817-594-0533 or Bryan, Teller Supervisor 817-590-0045.

The all-too familiar sound of a phone receiving a text message has become a commodity in today's society. Individuals of all ages, from children to senior citizens, are capable of achieving anything from surfing the Internet to posting a Facebook status update just through the use of a mobile phone.
Even advertisers are wising up to the trend in today's market and creating mobile campaigns to reach their customers via text messages. The movement is so vast and over-utilized that an organization was created for individuals specializing in mobile marketing.
