FORT WORTH — On Monday, State Representative Vicki Truitt will be presenting EECU with a resolution, recognizing EECU for 75 years of business.
Now in her sixth term in office, Representative Vicki Truitt has become a leader in the Texas House of Representatives. She is the current Chairman of Texas House of Representatives’ Committee on Pensions, Investments and Financial Services, and is a member of the House Committee on Public Health.
“We are honored to receive recognition for our efforts over the past 75 years, and we know it would not be possible without our members continued support,” said Lonnie Nicholson, president and CEO of EECU.
During the presentation, EECU will also announce that it has reached $1 billion in assets.
Despite the economic turmoil of 2009, EECU has continued to give back and grow, both in members and assets — reaching over $1 billion on Dec. 2, Nicholson said.”
Representative Truitt’s presentation will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, in the lobby of EECU’s Fort Worth Branch, located at 1617 W. Seventh St.
