Mike Carter joins First Financial Bank

WEATHERFORD – First Financial Bank, N.A., Weatherford, Chairman & CEO Doyle Lee recently announced the addition of Parker county banker Michael Carter as Senior Vice President/Branch Manager of First Financial Bank in Aledo.

“Mike will be a great addition to our team,” Lee said. “He and his family have been involved in this community for many years and have formed many great relationships county wide.”

Carter has been active in the banking industry and the Parker county community for more than 28 years.

“What a great opportunity, with a stable, strong bank like First Financial. I look forward to working with the Aledo community and serving their banking needs,” Carter said.

Carter comes to First Financial Bank with a diversified business background acting as a licensed real estate broker, business development specialist as well as a consumer and commercial bank loan officer. He holds an executive MBA from Texas Christian University and is a 1981 graduate of Texas A&M; University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in building construction. Carter is also a graduate of the Texas Independent Banking School where his studies included commercial and consumer lending. He has been actively involved in many civic groups including serving as the chairman of the Parker County Hospital District, board member of the Parker County Health Foundation, and chairman of the Weatherford ISD Education Foundation Board.

He and his wife Nika have two children, a son Jarrett and daughter Shelby.
