The following offenses were observed or reported to the Weatherford Police Department on Monday, June 29, 2009.
Criminal Mischief
June 29: 500 block Santa Fe Drive, a complainant reported that between June 22 and June 29 unknown suspect(s) had damaged two crape myrtle trees that were located next to the roadway. The damage was done by breaking off several of the limbs close to the ground.

WISD reports clean audit, revenues down
WEATHERFORD — Weatherford ISD Board members learned at a recent workshop that the district had once again received a clean audit report and will receive the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting as awarded by the Government Finance Officers Association.

WEATHERFORD — Weatherford Police Officers responded to the Calvary Methodist Church, located at 210 Garner Road, in regards to a burglary of a building Friday.
