Weatherford Police Department

The following offenses were observed or reported to the Weatherford Police Department on Wednesday, July 1, 2009.

Theft

June 30: 1400 block Shadow Run, a complainant reported that between 9:30 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. unknown suspect(s) stole a Dewalt drill and saw from the bed of a pickup truck parked in the driveway.

June 30: 1800 block South Main, a complainant reported that while she was shopping, unknown suspect(s) had stolen her wallet out of her purse. The complainant reported that the purse was in a shopping cart at the time of the theft.

Burglary of a Vehicle

June 30: 1100 block Fort Worth Highway, an employee of Hayes Auto Sales reported that between June 29 and June 30 unknown suspect(s) had entered into a vehicle without consent and stole the in-dash stereo.

Burglary of a Building

June 30: 500 block Santa Fe Drive, a complainant reported that between 7 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. unknown suspect(s) without consent entered into a vacant office building and stole a lawn mower, weed eater and a gas powered blower.

Assault

June 30: 1200 block West Ball Street, a complainant reported that during an argument with her common law husband she was assaulted when he struck her in the face with his hand. The complainant reported minor injuries due to the assault.

June 30: 700 block West Bridge Street, a complainant reported that during an argument with her husband she was assaulted when he struck her on the forearm several times with a belt. The complainant reported minor injuries due to the assault.

Between 7 a.m. June 30 to 7 a.m. July 2 the Weatherford Police Dispatch generated 201 Calls for Service (CFS) log entries. (Includes Officer Initiated entries)
