Local church burglarized
WEATHERFORD — Weatherford Police Officers responded to the Calvary Methodist Church, located at 210 Garner Road, in regards to a burglary of a building Friday.
Upon arrival, reporting officers made contact with a church member who reported unknown persons removed a Craftsman riding lawn mower from the storage shed sometime between Jan. 20 and Jan. 22. “We are very interested in solving this crime and returning the lawn mower to the church,” Detective Lannie Fulton said. “We would like to encourage anyone with information on this burglary to contact the department.”
Anyone with information or who observed anything suspicious at Calvary Methodist Church during this time, is asked to contact the Weatherford Police Department at (817) 598-4345 or Crimestoppers at (817) 599-5555 and remain anonymous.
