The following offenses were observed or reported to the Weatherford Police Department on Monday, Jan. 25, 2010.
Assault
Jan. 25: 1500 block Santa Fe Drive, a complainant reported that during an argument and confrontation with a known female acquaintance he was assaulted when the suspect punched him in the mouth with a closed fist. The complainant reported a minor injury due to the assault.

The following offenses were observed or reported to the Weatherford Police Department on Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2010.
Forgery
Jan. 26: 1000 block South Main, a manager of Sonic reported that on Jan. 25 at approximately 1 p.m. an unknown suspect had passed a counterfeit $20 bill to an employee for the purchase of food items.
Criminal trespass
Jan. 26: 1000 block West Oak Street, on Jan. 25 at 9:30 p.m. a complainant reported to police that a known male suspect was at his residence in violation of a criminal trespass warning. Responding Officer located the suspect and found that he was violating a criminal trespass warning given to him on a prior date. The suspect was detained and charged with Criminal Trespass.

The Natural Bridge Caverns take “deep in the heart of Texas Hill Country” to a whole new meaning. With depths reaching 260 feet underground, it is Texas’ largest-known cavern and consistently ranks as one of the state’s top tourist destinations. Network upgrades to shut down college registration, July 18-21
WEATHERFORD — Necessary upgrades to the computer network at Weatherford College will cause a temporary shut down on registration, payments and financial aid processing the week of July 18.
