WEATHERFORD —
PARKER COUNTY — Tom Davis, who the staff and the clients affectionately call “Kitchen Tom” at the Center of Hope, has taken it upon himself to conduct a canned food drive at his business lot located at 2125 Highway 51 North.
The shelves at the center are in serious need of restocking.
There is a large white and red Center of Hope banner at his stand north of town about 2 miles north of the Weatherford Courthouse.
Anyone may take at least 1 item of canned food to the manned stand today through Monday, July 4.
The stand is open from 3 p.m. to midnight, or anyone may call 817-565-8764 for someone to meet you to accept the food.
