WPD Crime Report
The following offenses were observed or reported to the Weatherford Police Department between Friday Jan. 29 and Sunday Jan. 31.
Theft
n Jan. 29, At the 700 block of Santa Fe Drive, a complainant reported that between midnight and 1 a.m., unknown suspects had stolen two loads of his laundry from the apartment complex laundry room.
n Jan. 31, At the 200 block of West Bridge Street, a complainant reported that between 1 a.m. Jan. 30 and 9 a.m. Jan. 31, a known acquaintance had stolen a cell phone from his apartment.
n Jan. 31, At the 2000 block of Santa Fe Drive, a complainant reported that between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m., an unknown suspect had stolen his 1998 Kenworth semi truck and trailer from the parking lot where he had left it parked.
Criminal mischief
n Jan. 31, At the 700 block of South Sloan Street, a complainant reported that at approximately 3 a.m., unknown suspects had damaged her residence by throwing a brick through a window.
Forgery
n Jan. 29, At the 500 block of North Elm Street, a complainant reported that between Jan. 10 and Jan. 26, a known relative had stolen two of her personal checks and cashed the checks without her permission.
Burglary of a habitation
n Jan. 30, At the 100 block of North Dubellette Street, a complainant reported that between Dec. 15 and Jan. 14, unknown suspects entered into a vacant residence and stole a clothes washer and dryer along with a table and four chairs.
n Jan. 31, At the 1200 block of Lynn Street, a complainant reported that between 2 and 3 a.m., a known male suspect had entered into her residence without permission and stole her cell phone.

WISD reports clean audit, revenues down
WEATHERFORD — Weatherford ISD Board members learned at a recent workshop that the district had once again received a clean audit report and will receive the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting as awarded by the Government Finance Officers Association.

Local church burglarized
WEATHERFORD — Weatherford Police Officers responded to the Calvary Methodist Church, located at 210 Garner Road, in regards to a burglary of a building Friday.

WEATHERFORD — The Friends of the Weatherford Public Library will hold a Mini Book Sale this weekend during regular library hours.
