Opening of theater company's 5th season
WILLOW PARK – Willow Park Dinner Players presents a story of a simple Southern Christmas for a new baby, "A Bauble for the Baby," by E.P. Conkle.
One night only, Saturday, Nov. 7, the doors will open at 6:30 p.m., dinner service begins at 7 p.m., with production beginning at 7:30 p.m.
Tim Jarrell is the director, with cast and crew including Alan Dean, Kim Dobbs, Keah Kenney and Kylie Wrinkle.
"A Bauble for the Baby" will be on stage at Los Vaqueros West Banquet Hall, 4971 E I-20, Service Road North, Willow Park. There is limited seating, reservations suggested; $25 per adult, $15 per child ( 12 and under). For reservations, call (817) 594-5596 or visit WeatherfordStage@ont.com.

WISD reports clean audit, revenues down
WEATHERFORD — Weatherford ISD Board members learned at a recent workshop that the district had once again received a clean audit report and will receive the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting as awarded by the Government Finance Officers Association.
