The following offenses were observed or reported to the Weatherford Police Department on Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2009.
Theft
Nov. 4: 200 block Adams Drive, an employee of Ultra Cosmetics reported that at approximately 7 p.m. unknown suspect(s) had entered into the business and concealed an undetermined amount of perfume and left the business without making an attempt to pay for the merchandise.
Burglary of a habitation
Nov. 4: 700 block East 2nd Street, a complainant reported that between 7:45 p.m. and 8 p.m. unknown suspect(s) had entered into their residence without permission and stole Play Station 3 game.
Assault
Nov. 4: 1200 block South Brazos Street, a complainant reported that during an argument with a known acquaintance she was assaulted when the suspect pushed her into a wall, causing her physical pain.
Nov. 4: 200 block Bridge Street, a complainant reported that during an argument with her boyfriend she was assaulted when he became angry and slapped her with an open hand then choked her by placing his hands around her neck. The complainant reported minor injuries due to the assault.

WISD reports clean audit, revenues down
WEATHERFORD — Weatherford ISD Board members learned at a recent workshop that the district had once again received a clean audit report and will receive the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting as awarded by the Government Finance Officers Association.

WEATHERFORD — Weatherford Police Officers responded to the Calvary Methodist Church, located at 210 Garner Road, in regards to a burglary of a building Friday.

WEATHERFORD — The Friends of the Weatherford Public Library will hold a Mini Book Sale this weekend during regular library hours.
