Parker County Sheriff’s investigators are requesting help with a home invasion reported Monday around noon in the 100 block of Meadow Park Drive in Aledo.
A woman reportedly called 911 after discovering a man inside her home, according to the Parker County Sheriff’s Office.
The man, described as a white male in his 30s to early 40s, 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10 inches tall, about 170 to 180 pounds, with short, salt-and-pepper hair, an unshaven face and wearing plaid shorts, a white T-shirt, and a tan baseball cap, reportedly told the woman he was searching for his dog, the sheriff’s office reported.
The man left the house on foot and the other resident followed the man in her vehicle, according to the sheriff’s office.
She rolled her window down and asked for identification and he ran, the sheriff’s office reported.
A jewelry box filled with jewelry and an undisclosed amount of currency were reported taken.

Crime stoppers will pay up to a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and indictment of the suspect involved. Callers may remain anonymous.
