    The Weatherford Fire Marshal is reminding residents that possession, discharge or manufacture of fireworks or sparklers within the city limits, including properties around Lake Weatherford, is illegal.

    The Weatherford Independent School District notified the Weatherford Police Department Thursday they had received several complaints from local residents who said an individual or individuals were soliciting and claiming to work for the school district.
