Tarleton releases Distinguished Students’ list for fall 2012

STEPHENVILLE – Tarleton State University has released the Distinguished Students list for the fall 2012 semester.

Students on the list include freshman and sophomore students who have a minimum 3.25 grade point ratio (GPR) and no grade lower than a ‘C,’ and juniors and seniors who have a minimum 3.5 GPR with no grade lower than a ‘C.’ All must be in good standing with the university.

Students making the list include the following:

    Parker County Sheriff Larry Fowler is pleased to announce this year’s local recipient of the Sheriff’s Association of Texas Academic Scholarship. The $500 scholarship was awarded to Caitlin Olivia Rose, 20, of Weatherford, who is currently enrolled at Tarleton State University. She will be a junior during the fall semester and is majoring in Music Education.
