Members of the local media were treated to a tour of the new Belk store in Weatherford Ridge this morning.

The store, one of 12 Texas retail outlets in the chain, is slated for a March 12 grand opening.

The almost 74,000 square foot store is located at the intersection of Adams Drive and South Main, anchoring the west end of the newest shopping complex on the I-20 corridor.

“We’re excited about opening a brand new store in the Weatherford area,” said Preston Antonini, vice president and regional manager of the Belk Texas region. “The store’s design, merchandise offerings and customer services reflect what customers in this community have told us they want. “

The Air Force Academy recently graduated their first openly gay cadets. What does this signify?

Nothing. There have always been gay cadets, they just haven't been open.
A step backward. Sexual orientation issues shouldn't be a part of the military.
A step forward. The military needs to be open to people of all backgrounds.
No opinion.
