TxDot to fix battered Brazos bridge

Staff Report

Texas Department of Transportation work crews will begin repair Monday of the Interstate 20 service road bridge over the Brazos River in Parker County.

Workers will repair damage to the truss bridge, which was damaged earlier this year by an oversized truck and is being fixed under an emergency contract.

Gibson and Associates was awarded the $85,000 TxDot contract.

According to a Friday release from the state department of transportation, work will take about two weeks, weather permitting.

The bridge will remain closed while repairs are done.

The Air Force Academy recently graduated their first openly gay cadets. What does this signify?

Nothing. There have always been gay cadets, they just haven't been open.
A step backward. Sexual orientation issues shouldn't be a part of the military.
A step forward. The military needs to be open to people of all backgrounds.
No opinion.
