Bell Helicopter, UAW Local 317 reach agreement

FORT WORTH (AP) — An agreement has been reached between Bell Helicopter and members of United Auto Workers Local 317.

Bell Helicopter said in a news release Sunday that members of the local ratified a three-year contract with 86 percent voting in favor of the package. The local represents 340 office and clerical workers at Bell Helicopter facilities in five cities in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

A telephone message left with the local was not immediately returned Sunday night.

Bell Helicopter is a subsidiary of Textron Inc.
