WC Board discusses new president

WEATHERFORD - During a special called meeting Thursday, the Weatherford College Board of Trustees met in a closed session to discuss personnel matters and to consider candidates for the appointment of an interim president.

No action was taken on either item.

Former President Joe Birmingham retired, effective Monday, leaving the top administration position vacant.

The next regular meeting of the WC Board of Trustees is scheduled July 9, at 1 p.m. in the E.W. Mince Building auditorium.
