WPD Crime Report

WEATHERFORD — Weatherford Police Department



The following offenses were observed or reported to the Weatherford Police Department on Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010.



Forgery

Feb. 4: 1500 block Mineral Wells Highway, an employee of AMT Food Mart reported that at approximately 1 p.m. an unknown female suspect attempted to pass a counterfeit $20 bill to the clerk for a purchase. The complainant reported that the clerk recognized the bill as counterfeit and refused to accept the bill. The suspect left the area before she could be identified.



Criminal mischief

Feb. 4: 200 block West Bridge Street, a complainant reported that between 4 p.m. Feb. 3 and 8 a.m. Feb. 4 unknown suspect(s) entered into a vacant apartment by breaking an exterior window. The complainant reported that once inside the apartment the suspect damaged a wall by spray painting graffiti and punching a hole into the sheetrock.

Driving while license suspended – 1

Fail to identity/accident above $200 – 1
