Child Health Summit is Tuesday

The Parker County Child Health Summit is Tuesday, 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Doss Heritage and Culture Center, 1400 Texas Drive, in Weatherford.

Be among the first to see the Parker County-specific findings from the 2012 community-wide Children’s Health Assessment & Planning Survey (CCHAPS). Data from the 2008 survey will be compared. Attendees will also learn about efforts to improve the health of children in Parker County, as well as how to get involved.

Continuing education credits will be provided for this event. Space is limited. The summit is free and lunch will be provided. Registration begins at 11 a.m.
