Peaster recently had two teams in the state FFA contest at Huntsville.
A senior and junior team that placed fourth and fifth, respectively. The senior team beat out 341 other Texas teams. The junior team beat out 271 other Texas teams. The junior team received a perfect score in area to go to the state contest for the first time ever.
Members of the senior team are Hannah Ford, Nathaniel Bernal and Christian Gonzales.
Members of the junior team are Draven Tell, Kodie Sears and Dylan Morrow.
A second suspect has been arrested in connection with the Monday beating of a man who, deputies say, stopped along the highway to help a man he believed to be in trouble.
