Sheriff’s Activity Call Log for Feb. 26, through Feb. 28, 2010.



Feb. 26, 2010:

Burglary of a habitation – 500 block of Fletcher Road, Weatherford.

The complainant reported a known suspect entered the residence and stole a bag of dog food, two electric heaters and a make-up container without permission.

Criminal trespass – 500 block of Appleton Drive, Weatherford.

The complainant reported a known suspect was trespassing on the property. The suspect was taken to jail for criminal trespass.



Feb. 27, 2010:

Domestic violence – 1200 block of Merry Drive, Aledo.

The complainant reported her boyfriend assaulted her during an argument. The suspect was arrested and charged with assault impeding breath circulation.

Animal call – 1600 block of Gilland Road, Springtown.

The complainant reported capturing a wild cat in a cage which scratched her in the process of catching it. The animal was taken to the Weatherford-Parker County Animal Shelter for testing.

Domestic disturbance – 2700 block of FM 920, Weatherford.

The complainant reported she and her roommate had been arguing and he had threatened her. No assaults were reported.

Theft of property – 5600 block of Maple Valley Drive, Azle.

The complainant reported she sent a money gram for an undisclosed amount of money for the sale of an English bulldog. The complainant also reported she has not received the dog nor has the suspect returned the money, and she believes the operation to be a scam.

Criminal mischief – 1500 block of Greenleaf Drive, Aledo.

The complainant reported unknown suspect(s) entered the property and scratched his vehicle with a rock.

Criminal mischief – 3300 block of Bluebonnet, Weatherford.

The complainant reported unknown suspect(s) entered the property and damaged the locking mechanism to the vehicle. No items were reported stolen.



Feb. 28, 2010:

Assault – 800 block of Sandy Lane, Weatherford.

The complainant reported a known suspect assaulted him during a dispute. He did not wish to pursue charges.

Domestic disturbance – 4200 block of Upper Denton Road, Weatherford.

The complainant reported her boyfriend assaulted her during an argument.

Burglary of a building – 200 block of Longhorn Trail, Weatherford.

The complainant reported an open door to a residence. Deputies observed the house had been vandalized.

Domestic violence – 100 block of Amantes Lane, Weatherford.

The complainant reported her spouse assaulted her during an argument. The suspect was arrested for assault causes bodily injury family violence.

Theft of property – 100 block of Hilltop Terrace, Weatherford.

The complainant reported an ex-employee has not returned company tools including two mapscos, a four-way tire iron, two shovels, a tool set and a cell phone belonging to the company.

Fraud use possession of identifying information – 129 Hogle Street, Weatherford.

The complainant reported unknown suspect(s) gained access to his checking account and made an undisclosed charge amount without his permission.

Burglary of a building – 10300 block of East Bankhead Highway, Aledo.

The complainant reported unknown suspect(s) entered a storage locker and stole a nail gun, a generator and a drill.

Burglary of a habitation – 100 block of Southeast Rambling Trail, Weatherford.

The complainant reported unknown suspect(s) forcefully entered the residence and stole a TV, handguns, a jewelry box, A Playstation 3 and a laptop computer and damaged a door frame.

Burglary of a habitation – 4400 block of Tin Top Road, Weatherford.

The complainant reported unknown suspect(s) entered the residence and stole a computer.

Assault – 1300 block of Pete Drive, Aledo.

The complainant reported a known suspect assaulted him during a dispute. He did not wish to pursue charges.
