Parker County to conduct personal finance class

Parker County will conduct a two-hour personal financial management class called “Managing Your Money” on Tuesday, Jan. 22, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Parker County Agricultural Services Building located at 604 N. Main St. in Weatherford.

The class is for anyone interested in how to better manage their money, but is also for people who are currently in bankruptcy Chapter 7 and/or 13.

The intent of the course is to increase your financial knowledge and skills. Topics everyone filing for bankruptcy needs to know. The topics covered will include:  Developing a Spending Plan, Money Management, Wise Use of Credit and Consumer information.

There is a $10 charge to attend the class. For more information or to register call (817) 598-6168.
