Fireworks entirely prohibited in city

WEATHERFORD — The Weatherford Fire Marshal is reminding residents that possession, discharge or manufacture of fireworks or sparklers within the city limits, including properties around Lake Weatherford, is illegal.

With the dry conditions, Weatherford emergency personnel will be strictly enforcing the ban and additional fire and police staff will be on duty to respond to emergency calls and complaints, according to the city.

All outdoor fire is also banned.
