Pep rally set at renovated Roo Stadium

WEATHERFORD - A community wide pep rally is slated for 11:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 4 at the renovated Roo Stadium and will include speakers from the WHS band, cheerleaders and football team.

The event, sponsored by the Weatherford Chamber of Commerce and First Financial Bank, will include door prizes along with predicitons for the 2009 grid season.

Tickets are $10 and reservations may be made by calling (817) 596-3801.

“We anticipate a large crowd, so be sure to get those reservations in quick,” said chamber President Tammy Gazzola in a release. “You don’t want to miss this sneak peak at the new stadium.”
