Weatherford man killed in single-vehicle wreck

By CHRISTIN COYNE

A 22-year-old Weatherford man was pronounced deceased Monday at the scene of an early morning wreck in Willow Park.

Wesley Nash Bright, the driver of a 1999 Chevrolet Camaro, was traveling westbound on the north Interstate 20 on ramp west of the Ranch House Road intersection shortly after midnight, according to Trooper Gary Rozzell.

“The roadway was slick,” Rozzell said. “He lost control and slid into a guard rail and overturned.”

Bright, who was wearing a seat belt, was found deceased in his vehicle.

The frontage road had a speed limit of 50 mph, according to Rozzell.

The cause and manner of his death was still listed as pending late Monday, according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office.
