Chandor Gardens set to unveil Texas historical marker

The City of Weatherford Parks and Recreation Department and the Parker County Historical Commission would like to invite the community to a reception celebrating the dedication of a Texas Historical Marker at Chandor Gardens.

The event is scheduled for Friday, Jan. 25, at Chandor and is come and go between 3:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. The official unveiling of the marker will take place at 4:30 p.m.

Guests will have an opportunity to view a special exhibit of various collections of Douglas Chandor’s drawings and plans for the Gardens during the event. In addition, tours of the Gardens and the Chandor Mansion will be conducted, and light refreshments will be served. The event is free.
