Parker County Sheriff’s officers are investigation the cause death for Daniel Keith Carlisle, 41, who died Saturday morning.
Deputy Danie Huffman said only limited information can be released at this time as the report is still being compiled and Carlisle’s body is at the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s office to undergo an autopsy.
She said the report states Carlisle was having problems, but doesn’t specify those as medical, when a friend, who was also in the vehicle, called 911. The call came in at 9:45 a.m. and officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Vista Drive in Willow Park.
Carlisle was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
“We are waiting on the toxicology report and autopsy to complete the investigation,” Huffman said.
Sheriff’s investigators have already spoken with the medical examiner and Sheriff Larry Fowler said there was no evidence of blunt force trauma.
Investigators said Carlisle was involved in a fight prior to his death where he was hit in the back with a cinder block.
“But the investigators don’t think that was a contributing cause to his death,” Huffman said.
