WEATHERFORD - The Parker County Crime Stoppers has issued the following Crime of the Week, and need your help in solving this crime.
On Nov. 24, Weatherford Police Officers were dispatched to Lowe’s Home Improvement Store, located at 118 E. I-20 in regards to a theft.
The manager reported that unknown got into the fenced area of the business and stole a green John Deere riding mower, a red Troybilt riding mower, two orange 20” Husqvarna chain saws and two orange Husqvarna gas weed trimmers
The total value of the stlolen merchandise comes to more than $3,100.
Officers reviewed security tapes and found that at approximately 11:40 p.m. on the previous night, two males entered the property and pushed a John Deere riding lawn mower toward the business’ gate.
They both appeared to be in their early twenties and slender built - one wearing denim shorts, white socks and shoes and the other wearing a dark colored hoodie and blue jeans.
“We have been following up on leads to this case, however, we have still not developed any suspects,” stated Detective Lannie Fulton, “We are hoping by issuing this crime notice, someone will come forward with information.”
Up to a $1,000 reward will be paid for this information and you may remain anonymous.
