Parker County man dies in house fire

— From Staff Reports

A mobile home north of Weatherford Friday morning claimed the life of a 50-year-old man, authorities said.

John "Jay" Alan Montgomery was unable to escape his mobile home in the 3600 block of Oak Circle in Crazy Horse Ranchos. He was reportedly found dead in his bedroom.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office ruled Montgomery died of smoke inhalation.
