WEATHERFORD —
WEATHERFORD — The Weatherford/Parker County Senior Center will be open for lunches Thursday and Friday of this week, but closed to all other activities due to preparation work for the July 9 garage sale.
Seniors are invited to come in out of the heat those days, however, they should be warned, they may be put to work helping set up the sale.

Garden mums are a perennial that will bloom twice each year if they are not pruned. However, the stems will be long and floppy and the flowers will be small. Timely pruning will greatly improve the appearance and the bloom of the plant.
