PARKER COUNTY —
The case against a man accused of aggravated sexual assault of child last summer has been dismissed after the young girl recanted her story.
The victim recanted and her mother was no longer allowing access, according to court records requesting dismissal of the charge against David Michael Fouchey Jr.
Fouchey, 40, of Mineral Wells, was arrested in November after a girl under 14 years old reportedly made an outcry to her sister in late October.
The incident reportedly occurred in the 1100 block of Brazos Rock Road in Millsap in June.
During an interview with CPS and investigators, the alleged victim said she was at the river with other family members and Fouchey when Fouchey sexually assaulted her.
The girl’s age was not specified.
Fouchey had been out on $35,000 bond since December.
The charge was dropped June 26.
