Special Roos teams compete at Special Olympics Games

Three unified bowling teams for the Weatherford Special Roos traveled to Austin to compete in the 2013 Winter Games Special Olympics Texas Feb. 3.

The Weatherford Special Roos Team Rampers took first place in bowling. Gold medal team winners included William Harris, Tucker Bright, Beverly York and Robin Bright.

The Weatherford True Blue Roos finished with a silver medal. Team members included Tyler DeHart, Lance Newby, Ally Dooley and Anna Dooley.

The Weatherford Unified Special Roos also received the silver medal. Team members included Brandon Balke, Jennifer Hardeman, Christina Hardeman and Brock Hibbs.
