James H. Kimsey

— James H. Kimsey, 96, passed away Saturday, Aug. 11, 2012, in Weatherford, Texas.  

He was a longtime resident of Weatherford. James was born on Feb. 28, 1916, to Henry and Fannie Womack Kimsey. James served in the Army during World War II. He worked as a line a-type machine operator for the Mineral Wells Index for 35 years and retired from WISD in the maintenance department.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Oneta Kimsey, in 1995; parents, Henry and Fannie Kimsey; sister, Lucille Nelson; and brothers, Fred Kimsey and Mabrey Kimsey.

Survivors include his sons, Larry Kimsey and wife, Sharon, of Weatherford, and Tim Kimsey and wife, Rebecca, of Weatherford; daughter, Dell Rochelle, of Flatwoods, Ky.; 12 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 14, at 10 a.m. at East Greenwood Cemetery with Rev. Ronald Walker officiating.  

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 13, at the funeral home.
