Marni Kay Mockbee Henderson passed away May 31, 2012, from congestive heart failure.
She was born Sept. 27, 1963, to Richard C. Mockbee and Theo V. Page. Marni attended school in Longview, Texas, at Pine Tree until she graduated in 1982. After high school she went to Martin’s Barber College where she received her barber’s license. She lived in Pittsburg, Texas, and Hobbs, N.M., before making her home in Weatherford, Texas, where she eventually opened Marni’s Barber Shop. Marni had a great sense of humor, a kind heart, and will be forever missed by her family and friends that love her.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Lee Henderson.
A memorial service will be held Monday, June 25, at 10 a.m. at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, the family will be accepting donations in Marni’s memory at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Home.
