Melvin J. Fencl

WEATHERFORD — Melvin J. Fencl, 81, beloved father, grandfather, uncle and friend, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012, surrounded by his family at home.

Melvin was born Aug. 19, 1931, in Cicero, Ill., to James and Bess Vasko Fencl. He honorably served his country in the United States Air Force. Melvin was a member of Trinity Bible Church and also of the Carpenters Union.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Joyce Fencl on April 23, 2006; and his parents.

Survivors include his daughter, Cheri Morgan of Weatherford; grandchildren, Taylor Morgan of Austin and Brooke Morgan of Weatherford; niece, Regina Kees; nephews, George and Michael Jares, and Rollan Fencl, Jr.; and many loving friends and church family.

Funeral service is at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, at White’s Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford. Interment will be in Annetta Cemetery.

Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
