Augusta “Sissy” Austin, 81, of Weatherford passed away on Aug. 19, 2012.
She was the daughter of Jesse and Mary Patterson Austin. She will also be missed dearly by all the friends she made at Keeneland Nursing Home over the years. The family would like to thank Keeneland Nursing home for the great care and love they gave Sissy during her stay there.
Sissy was preceded in death by both parents; brothers, Gilbert and Gene Austin; sisters, Joyce and Ruth; one niece and five nephews.
Survivors include sisters, Patsy and husband Jimmy Frazier, Earlene and husband Jim Ruland and Dell and husband Charles Clayton; sister-in-law Wanda Austin, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was Tuesday. Aug. 21.
Service will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 22, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Poe Prairie Cemetery.
