WEATHERFORD —
LIPAN — Tommy D. Harris, 58 passed away Saturday, Oct. 6 at a Weatherford Hospital.
Mr. Harris was born Oct. 28, 1953 in Weatherford to Robert and Merta Fay Reed Harris. He married Geneva May 3, 1996. A long-time resident of the Lipan area, he was a very hard worker and loved his family and animals. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Geneva Hart Harris of Lipan; sons, Tim Harris and Josh Harris; step-children and their spouses, Darran and Madgena Dutton, Selena and David Melton and Jennifer and Larry Sherman; 10 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10 at the First Baptist Church of Dennis. Burial will follow at Allison Cemetery between Dennis and Lipan. Visitation is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the Wiley Lipan Chapel.
