Helen E. Rucker, 92, of Weatherford, passed away Friday, July 20, 2012 in Fort Worth.
Helen was born Aug. 21, 1919 in Corydon, Ind., to Carrie and Henry Ehalt. Mrs. Rucker was a beautician and a homemaker.
Preceding her in death were her husband, David Rucker; parents, Henry A. and Carrie Ehalt; brothers, Elmer Ehalt and Stanley Ehalt and sisters, Alliene Ehalt and Leola Colbert.
Survivors include her children, Stanley D. Rucker and wife, Ruth, Suanne Monroe and husband, Eddie, Michael D. Rucker and wife, Bonni, Linda Zimmerman and husband, Jerry, Cindy McCormick and husband, Jim, Melissa “Dolly” Rucker and James D. Rucker and wife, Bambi; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday, July 25, at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 24, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
