KEMPNER – David Neil Sneed, 63, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend died Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2012.
Service is 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28, at White’s Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
David was born Dec. 23, 1949, in Plainview to the late Boyd and Lorene Harris Sneed. He graduated from Brownfield High School. David worked for over 26 years in the public water system and retired as manager of Kempner. He was a former employee and associate member of Texas Rural Water Association.
David met Michelle Sutherland and they married in Hawaii on Aug. 3, 1997. He loved woodworking, hunting, playing golf, restoring cars and living on the beach in Bolivar.
Survivors include his loving wife of 15 years, Michelle; sons, Scott Sneed and wife, Amanda, of Wichita Falls and Lee Sneed, of Alpine; daughter, Rebecca Addison and husband, Danny, of Holiday; step-daughter, Sammye Causey, of Midlothian; stepson, Jimmy Williams, of Fort Worth; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sister, Dorothy Malone and husband, John D., of Weatherford; brother, Boyd Sneed Jr.; and beloved pets, Rowdy and Kerrie Joe.
David was preceded in death by his parents.
